Himachal Pradesh

Himachal Pradesh Police is the law enforcement agency of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It was formed in 1948 after the state was established as a union territory.

The primary objective of the police force is to maintain law and order, prevent and detect crime, and ensure the safety and security of the citizens of the state. The force is led by the Director General of Police and has a strength of approximately 20,000 personnel.
