On March 2, 2025, Assam Police arrested two men, both around 25 years old, for allegedly intoxicating and raping a 20-year-old student in Guwahati. The incident reportedly occurred on February 25 in the Rajgarh area, and the survivor filed a complaint at Paltan Bazar Police Station on March 1. The accused are scheduled to be presented before the court today.
