On March 1, 2025, the body of 22-year-old Himani Narwal, a Congress party worker, was discovered inside a suitcase abandoned near the Sampla bus stand on the Rohtak-Delhi highway. Following the discovery, Haryana Police launched an investigation and, on March 3, 2025, arrested a key suspect in connection with the murder. The suspect is currently in custody as the investigation continues.
