As part of National Road Safety Month, the Puducherry Traffic Police organized a “Wear Helmet Walkathon” at Rock Beach on January 19, 2025. The initiative aimed to promote the importance of wearing helmets and adhering to traffic rules among citizens. Participants, including students from the Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) Puducherry Campus, actively engaged in the event, with the top three finishers being recognized for their efforts.
This campaign serves as a crucial reminder of the role that community awareness plays in reducing road accidents. By involving students and local citizens, the Puducherry Police successfully emphasized the need for road safety and responsible driving habits.
