On January 1, 2025, the Chief Minister of Mizoram, Lalduhoma, spearheaded an inspiring initiative aimed at combating drug abuse in the state. The “Walk for Drug-Free Mizoram” event, launched in Aizawl, serves as a platform to raise public awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and promote a healthy, drug-free society.
The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of community efforts and the role of every citizen in eliminating the drug menace that has been affecting the region.
