Police Conduct Extensive Search Operations in Maoist-Affected Kothagudem Villages

Police conducted extensive search operations in the agency villages of Kothagudem on Friday. Led by Cherla CI Raju Verma and SI Narsi Reddy, along with CRPF and special party personnel, a thorough inspection of every house was carried out in Maoist-affected Korakatpadu village. Following the search, a meeting was held with the villagers, and mosquito nets were distributed to 40 families to combat the risk of dengue and malaria during the rainy season.

In a parallel operation, Allapally SI Rathish, along with TSSP and police personnel, conducted a cordon and search operation in Muthapuram. They interacted with 11 families, advising them to maintain cleanliness to prevent mosquito-borne viral fevers. The police officers urged villagers to report any unknown visitors and to refrain from assisting Maoists.
