Twenty-five individuals apprehended following a raid at ‘The Cave Pub’ in Manikonda by TSANB and Raidurgam police have appeared for questioning. Earlier, they were issued notices to appear regarding a party where drugs were allegedly consumed. Officials questioned them about the event and the source of drugs used.
IT employees, private sector workers, students, and businessmen were among those detained, all reportedly invited by the organizers. Efforts are underway to apprehend pub owners Rajesh, Abhinav, Sai Krishna, and Sunny, who are currently absconding. Drug detection kits revealed ganja, cocaine, and MDMA use among attendees. Police plan counselling sessions for those involved, with future anti-drug tests scheduled.
