Sandeep Rai Rathore addressed reporters in Chennai regarding the murder of BSP leader K. Armstrong, stating there is no substantial evidence of a political conspiracy thus far. While initial investigations indicate a lack of political motivation behind the crime, Rathore acknowledged ongoing inquiries into Armstrong’s alleged conflicts with political rivals.

“As per preliminary findings, the likelihood of a political angle appears low,” Rathore emphasized, noting that further information will be disclosed once the investigation is completed. He clarified that while no conclusive evidence of
political involvement has been found, the police are continuing to examine all aspects of the case to ensure a thorough investigation.
