The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the Karnataka Maharshi Valmiki Development Corporation scandal has issued notices to former Minister and Valmiki Corporation President Basanagowda Daddal. They are required to appear at the CID office on July 9 for questioning. 
Nagendra resigned as Scheduled Caste Welfare Minister amid allegations related to the ₹94.73 crore misappropriation from the corporation to Hyderabad’s First Finance Credit Co-operative Society. SIT sources confirm the interrogation will be video-recorded. The probe, accelerated after opposition protests, involves arrests and seizures related to fraudulent money transfers to numerous accounts, including those of jewelry shops and hotels.
