G. Dharmarajan, currently the Joint Commissioner of Police (East) with the Greater Chennai Police, is set to take on a new role as the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) overseeing the Intelligence section of the GCP.
His transfer and promotion to this upgraded position were announced recently. Concurrently, S. Aravind, who previously served as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in the Intelligence section of the GCP, has been reassigned as the DCP at Headquarters, Trichy City.
These changes, communicated by the state home department, aim to optimize leadership within the police force, ensuring strategic roles are filled with experienced officers like Dharmarajan and Aravind.
