A 19-year-old woman was allegedly molested by an unidentified man near Medchal railway station, prompting local police to launch a thorough investigation into the incident.
According to the complaint, the young woman, who works in the private sector, was walking home along the railway track when an unknown individual approached her from behind and behaved inappropriately, making unwanted sexual advances.
Disturbed by the incident, she reported the matter to the authorities, following which a case has been registered. The police are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the area and conducting inquiries to identify and apprehend the accused.
