New Delhi: A tragic incident in outer-north Delhi’s Alipur area on Friday claimed the life of a 67-year-old man and left another injured after a bull attack, police said.

According to officials, the police received a PCR call about the incident around 6:30 am. Ashok Kumar, a security guard at a godown in Nehru Enclave, had just completed his night shift and was heading home when the bull attacked him near Sai Baba Mandir on Alipur-Budhpur Road.

Another individual, identified as 60-year-old Ram Lakhan, was also attacked by the bull. However, he sustained only minor injuries and managed to escape. In his statement to the police, Lakhan recounted how the bull turned on him after attacking Kumar.

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) officials were called to the scene, and the bull was captured. Authorities have registered a case at Alipur Police Station.
