Hyderabad Police Ask Medha Patkar to Leave Activist’s Home
Social activist Medha Patkar was asked to leave an activist’s residence in Hyderabad after police cited potential law and order concerns. She was in the city for the 30th anniversary event of the National Alliance of People’s Movements (NAPM). The move followed her unplanned visit to Chaderghat near the Musi river, where she interacted with locals and volunteers engaged in environmental and social initiatives.
