The Uttar Pradesh government has launched extensive cybersecurity initiatives for Maha Kumbh 2025 to combat potential cyber threats and ensure digital safety. With millions of pilgrims and tourists expected to participate, cybercriminals might attempt scams, data breaches, and online frauds. To counteract these threats, the government has established dedicated cyber and digital police stations and formed partnerships with top cybersecurity experts and institutions. The introduction of AI-powered surveillance and encrypted communication networks will further secure digital transactions and public data.

As part of this initiative, the ‘Digital Warrior’ awareness program has been launched to educate pilgrims about online safety. Additionally, a real-time fraud detection mechanism has been implemented to track suspicious online activities. With these measures in place, the government aims to protect pilgrims from cybercrimes while ensuring a technologically advanced and secure event.
