The Arunachal Pradesh police, in a well-coordinated operation, have successfully dismantled a major smuggling ring operating along the state’s border with Bhutan. The criminal group was involved in smuggling goods, including electronics, wildlife products, and illegal substances, across the international border. Several individuals were arrested during the operation, and the police seized large quantities of contraband materials.
The police are working closely with border security forces and the Bhutanese authorities to further investigate the network’s operations and dismantle other associated illegal activities. Enhanced security measures along the border are being implemented to prevent future smuggling operations and ensure that cross-border criminal activities are brought to a halt.
