In a significant operation, Tripura Police arrested a Bangladesh national, Samajpriya Chakma, in Agartala’s Milanchakra area. Chakma was found in possession of a factory-made 9 mm pistol, three live bullets, two Android phones, ₹2.21 lakh in Indian currency, and ₹25,000 in Bangladeshi Taka. This arrest highlights the ongoing efforts by the Tripura Police to tackle cross-border illegal activities and maintain regional security.
