On January 6, 2025, ITV Network and India News organized the prestigious Shaurya Samman 2025 at the Taj Mahal Hotel in Lucknow to honor the brave police officers, army, and paramilitary personnel from Uttar Pradesh. The event was graced by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who attended as the chief guest. The ceremony included the presentation of awards to 17 martyrs for their extraordinary sacrifices, with notable mentions of Lance Naik Sudama Ram and Captain Shubham Gupta.
In addition to the martyrs, the event also acknowledged the contributions of retired Major Dhirendra Nath Singh, who was honored for his exceptional war skills during the 1965 war. The Shaurya Samman highlighted Uttar Pradesh’s commitment to recognizing the valor and dedication of its law enforcement and armed forces personnel who have sacrificed for the nation’s safety and security.
