Delhi Police have successfully arrested a notorious burglar nicknamed ‘Spider-Man,’ known for his ability to scale walls and break into homes undetected. The arrest came after a series of burglaries in the Kabir Nagar area, where the thief employed unique and daring methods to evade authorities.
The thief’s unconventional tactics had left local residents in fear, as he would reportedly climb the exterior walls of buildings to access upper floors and sneak into apartments. His ability to bypass traditional security measures, such as locked doors and windows, led to a growing number of unsolved thefts, until a breakthrough finally occurred.
The police were able to identify the suspect through forensic evidence and surveillance footage, which showed the burglar’s acrobatic skill in scaling the walls of residential buildings. Upon arrest, the suspect confessed to his involvement in several burglaries over the past few months, and police recovered stolen goods, including jewelry and electronics, from his possession.
Authorities believe the burglar, who operated under the radar for months, may have targeted more victims across the city. Delhi Police are continuing their investigation to determine the full extent of his criminal activities and whether he had accomplices.
The arrest has brought a sense of relief to the residents of Kabir Nagar and surrounding areas, who had been living in constant fear of a break-in. The case highlights the ongoing challenge that law enforcement faces in combating crime in urban environments, where burglars are increasingly employing sophisticated methods to avoid detection.
