A woman from the United States, who was initially reported missing following a car crash, has been found dead in a deep well in what the police have described as a “tragic accident.”

Shirley Obert, a Chick-fil-A employee, was involved in the crash on Saturday morning in Monroe County, located just outside of Atlanta. According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred in the early hours of March 29.
