BSF and Police Nab Four Bangladeshi Nationals in South West Garo Hills.

Ampati, March 17: In a swift and well-coordinated operation, the vigilant troops of the 50th Battalion of the Border Security Force (BSF), in collaboration with the local police, successfully intercepted a vehicle attempting to cross the international border in the South West Garo Hills district of Meghalaya.

Acting on intelligence inputs, the security forces set up a checkpoint at a strategic location near the Indo-Bangladesh border. During the operation, they flagged down a suspicious vehicle for inspection. Upon checking, the officials discovered four Bangladeshi nationals and one Indian national inside the vehicle, allegedly trying to enter Indian territory illegally.

The identities of the detained individuals have not yet been disclosed, and further investigations are underway to determine their purpose of travel and whether they are linked to any larger network of illegal immigration or human trafficking. The apprehended individuals, along with the seized vehicle, have been handed over to Mehenderganj Police Station for legal proceedings.
