In a meticulously planned intelligence-led operation, the State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) in Mohali successfully dismantled a major terror module linked to Babbar Khalsa International (BKI), a Pakistan-based extremist organization. This module was allegedly being operated under the guidance of Harvinder Singh, also known as Rinda, a notorious terrorist with ties to Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
Acting on credible intelligence, the SSOC launched a targeted crackdown on this network, leading to the arrest of three key individuals involved in terror-related activities. These operatives were reportedly engaged in executing plans to destabilize peace and security in Punjab by carrying out targeted killings, extortion, and other unlawful activities.
Authorities believe that the arrested individuals were in direct contact with handlers based across the border and were receiving logistical and financial support to further their nefarious agenda. The operation is being hailed as a significant achievement in Punjab’s fight against terrorism, as it has not only neutralized a potential threat but also sent a strong message regarding the state’s commitment to maintaining law and order.
