Manipur Police arrest two teachers in question paper leak case.

The Cyber Crime Police of Manipur arrested two teachers following the leak of the Physics question paper from the ongoing Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSSLCE) 2025:

  • Maibam Sunil Singh (33): A Physics teacher at Paradise English School in Thoubal and Assistant Officer-in-Charge at an exam center.

  • Ningombam Jagdish Singh (33): A Chemistry teacher at the same institution.

Both were apprehended on March 3 and 4, 2025, respectively. Incriminating evidence, including mobile phones, was seized, and they have been remanded in judicial custody until March 8 for further investigation.

These developments underscore the ongoing efforts of Manipur’s law enforcement agencies to combat militant activities and uphold the integrity of the educational system.
