In a shocking incident, a 34-year-old inmate serving a life sentence was found dead under mysterious circumstances inside Medininagar Central Jail, Jharkhand, on March 4, 2025. The deceased, whose identity has not yet been officially disclosed, had been convicted of murder in 2018 and was serving his sentence in the high-security prison.
According to jail authorities, the inmate was discovered unresponsive in his cell during routine rounds by prison staff. Upon immediate examination, he was declared dead on the spot.
