The West Bengal Police recently organized a grand Passing Out Parade at the Swami Vivekananda State Police Academy in Barrackpore, marking a significant milestone in the careers of 778 newly inducted Sub-Inspectors. This prestigious event symbolized the culmination of an intensive, year-long training program designed to equip the officers with the skills, discipline, and knowledge required to uphold law and order across the state.
During their training, the Sub-Inspectors underwent rigorous physical conditioning, legal education, and hands-on experience in policing techniques, including criminal investigation, crowd control, forensic science, cybercrime awareness, and crisis management. Special emphasis was placed on modern policing methods, community engagement, and human rights sensitivity to ensure they serve the public with integrity and professionalism.
