The Karnataka Police have sought public assistance to trace the bike-borne assailants who shot dead a security guard and decamped with Rs 93 lakh meant to be loaded at an ATM in Bidar on January 16.

The two suspects, both hailing from Bihar, fired six rounds at the security personnel who were part of the cash loading team of the State Bank of India (SBI) at Shivaji Chowk, before fleeing with the cash. In the attack, one guard was killed while another was injured.
