On January 26, 2025, the Delhi Police deployed a robust security apparatus to ensure a smooth and incident-free Republic Day celebration. Approximately 15,000 personnel were stationed across critical areas, forming six security layers to monitor and neutralize potential threats. AI-powered surveillance cameras and facial recognition technology were employed to track suspicious movements, while high-rise buildings underwent stringent security checks.

Anti-drone measures were also activated, with specialized units monitoring airspace for unauthorized flying objects. In coordination with intelligence agencies, additional measures were enforced at transport hubs, including metro stations and major roads leading to Rajpath, to prevent any security breaches.
