Iltija Mufti, a prominent leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has raised concerns about alleged discrepancies in the recent Jammu and Kashmir Police Constable recruitment process.
According to Mufti, certain irregularities were noticed in the recruitment, leading to questions about the transparency and fairness of the selection process.
She claimed that some candidates with stronger qualifications were overlooked, while others with lesser merit were given preference. The National Conference (NC), however, has hit back at these claims, calling them baseless and politically motivated.
The NC argues that the recruitment process was conducted in a fair and transparent manner, and the allegations made by Mufti are an attempt to distract from the actual issues at hand. The controversy has sparked a political debate in the region, with both parties accusing each other of undermining public trust.
