Sikkim Police have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Institute for Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences (NIMHANS) to introduce mental health support programs for their personnel. These programs will offer both online and offline resources to promote mental well-being among police officers.
The initiative acknowledges the stressful nature of policing and the need to provide adequate support to law enforcement professionals. It is a step forward in ensuring a mentally healthy police force capable of handling the challenges of their duties.
