Three women from Bihar’s Gopalganj district are among 47 individuals stranded in Thailand and Vietnam, reportedly forced into cyber slavery. These individuals were lured with the promise of lucrative jobs but were coerced into working for online fraud networks. Authorities in both countries, in collaboration with Indian diplomats, are working to rescue them.
This incident sheds light on the growing menace of human trafficking for cyber crimes, highlighting the need for international cooperation and awareness to prevent such exploitation.
