In an effort to curb noise pollution and improve public safety, Arunachal Pradesh police have destroyed over 80 modified bike silencers. These silencers were being used to make vehicles louder, violating noise regulations and disturbing local residents.

The police’s operation aims to reduce such modifications that have become increasingly popular among youth, leading to a rise in complaints about excessive noise in the region. Authorities have warned that any vehicle found with such modifications will be fined.
