Satna, a district in Madhya Pradesh, has become a hotspot for cyber criminals, with authorities uncovering a widespread fraud network. Investigators found that 400 to 500 bank accounts were opened in the names of economically weaker section (EWS) individuals, many of whom had no knowledge of the accounts.

The accounts were used as part of a money mule operation, where fraudsters move illicit money through various accounts. Police have launched an extensive investigation to crack down on this cyber fraud ring, and are working to identify those responsible for exploiting vulnerable individuals.
