The Hyderabad Police recently welcomed 873 newly trained police constables into the City Armed Reserve (CAR) unit. These officers completed nine months of intensive training that covered physical fitness, law enforcement procedures, and modern policing techniques. Their induction is expected to significantly bolster the operational capacity of the Hyderabad police, enabling better management of law and order situations.
This new batch of constables will play a critical role in managing the city’s growing challenges, including crowd control, disaster response, and traffic management. The initiative reflects the department’s commitment to preparing a well-trained force capable of addressing contemporary policing needs in a metropolitan setting.
