In an effort to reduce traffic-related incidents and instill a sense of responsibility in younger generations, Daman and Diu Police recently organized a traffic awareness campaign in local schools.

The initiative, which included educational seminars and interactive workshops, aimed to teach students about the importance of road safety, following traffic rules, and the consequences of reckless driving.

Police officers used engaging activities and demonstrations to help students understand key traffic regulations, such as the significance of wearing helmets and seatbelts, the dangers of distracted driving, and the importance of pedestrian safety.

The campaign is part of a larger initiative by the Daman and Diu Police to promote safer roads and reduce accidents, especially among the youth. Police officers also provided students with pamphlets and materials on road safety, emphasizing the role of the community in maintaining a secure and accident-free environment.

The program was well-received by students and faculty, with plans for future campaigns to continue educating young people about responsible road behavior.
