In response to growing online threats, Punjab is establishing a ₹47-crore Security Operations Centre (SOC) to safeguard government websites, mobile applications, and digital data. This initiative aims to prevent hacking, data breaches, and other cybercrimes that pose risks to citizens and administrative systems.
The centre will employ cutting-edge technology to monitor and mitigate cyber threats in real-time. Punjab Police and IT specialists will collaborate to ensure the state’s digital framework remains secure and reliable for its citizens.
