The Delhi Police recorded a successful enforcement drive during New Year’s Eve, issuing over 4,500 challans for various traffic violations. Among these, 558 challans were for drunk driving, highlighting the police’s commitment to road safety. This proactive approach resulted in a 34% increase in enforcement actions compared to the previous year, ensuring that no fatal accidents occurred during the celebrations.
