According to the reports, Harpreet Singh, alias Happy Pashia, a BKI operative, is planning to target police stations with bomb attacks during nighttime hours in the lead-up to Republic Day. This alarming revelation has prompted authorities to establish additional checkpoints near police facilities and enhance vigilance at vulnerable locations.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has announced a reward of ₹5 lakh for information leading to the capture of Pashia. Police stations across Chandigarh have been directed to maintain heightened alertness, ensuring round-the-clock monitoring of suspicious activities.
