In a significant move to strengthen the police force, the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) launched a recruitment drive to fill 2,000 constable positions. This recruitment drive, aimed at enhancing the police force’s capability to manage law enforcement duties across the state, began on November 8, 2024, and concluded on November 29, 2024.
The exam for these positions is scheduled for June 15, 2025, and the successful candidates will be deployed across various districts in Uttarakhand. The recruitment is expected to offer employment opportunities to young people while bolstering the state’s law enforcement in managing the growing security challenges.
