In a stunning development, an interior designer from Puducherry has been arrested in connection with a 19-year-old double murder case.
The crime, which took place in 2006, involved the brutal killings of a young woman and her two-week-old twins in Kollam, Kerala. At the time, the case had stumped local police, and despite the designer being a prime suspect, there was insufficient evidence to charge him. For years, the case remained unsolved, leaving the families of the victims in limbo.
Advances in forensic science and a fresh look at the cold case finally led to a breakthrough in January 2025. After thorough re-investigation, new forensic evidence linked the interior designer to the crime, resulting in his arrest.
Investigators pieced together several previously overlooked clues, which ultimately led them to reopen the case and connect the designer to the murders. Despite maintaining his innocence for almost two decades, the evidence has now implicated him as the key perpetrator of the heinous crime.
