The Nagaland Police have successfully dismantled an inter-state vehicle snatching gang that has been operating across the region, bringing relief to vehicle owners in the state. In a coordinated operation, multiple arrests have been made, and law enforcement officials are continuing investigations to capture other members of the syndicate.
The gang is believed to have been involved in numerous cases of vehicle theft and illegal reselling across state borders. Stolen vehicles were reportedly being sold in neighboring states with forged documents.
Speaking to the media, a senior police officer said, “This gang has been active for quite some time, targeting unsuspecting individuals and snatching vehicles. Our efforts have led to significant arrests, but investigations are ongoing to ensure all those involved are brought to justice.”
The police have urged vehicle owners to take precautions, such as installing anti-theft devices and parking in secure locations. Additionally, they have advised the public to report suspicious activities related to vehicle sales and purchases.
