In a significant security operation, Manipur Police demolished four bunkers used by armed miscreants and took control of three other bunkers in the region. This action is part of ongoing efforts to eliminate militant hideouts and ensure peace in the state, especially in areas prone to insurgent activities.
Alongside the police, the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and the Indian Army continue to work in collaboration to maintain law and order. These security forces remain active across the region, carrying out joint operations aimed at curbing insurgent movements and restoring stability in sensitive areas.
The demolition of these bunkers is seen as a crucial step in reducing the capacity of armed groups to operate freely within the state. Authorities have emphasized that such operations will continue to ensure that any threats posed by militant organizations are neutralized effectively. The collective efforts of the security forces are focused on safeguarding the lives and property of the citizens, while working towards long-term peace in the region.
In addition to dismantling militant infrastructure, the forces are also engaging in surveillance and intelligence gathering, which is expected to further enhance security operations in the coming weeks.
