In a coordinated operation, the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) and Crime Branch of Goa Police assisted the Delhi Police Crime Branch in apprehending a Portuguese national in Colva, Goa. This individual was linked to a case in Delhi involving the seizure of 3.5 kg of charas (Malana Cream) worth approximately ₹2.5 crore.

Background:

The Delhi Police Crime Branch had earlier arrested two individuals, including a Portuguese national, in connection with the seizure of 3.68 kg of Malana Cream intended for distribution in Goa and other regions. The arrested Portuguese national in Goa was identified as the primary receiver responsible for distributing the narcotics at rave parties and other events.

Operation Details:

Based on intelligence shared by the Delhi Police, the Goa Police initiated surveillance in the Colva area. The joint operation led to the successful apprehension of the suspect, who was found to be involved in the interstate narcotics distribution network. The collaboration between the Delhi and Goa Police exemplifies effective inter-state coordination in combating drug trafficking.
