Drug Peddlers Arrested in Doimukh: Arunachal Police in Action

In a decisive move against drug-related crimes, the police team of Doimukh, led by SDPO Radhe Obing, apprehended two individuals involved in drug peddling. The arrests took place during a late-night operation on December 26 and 27, 2024. The accused, identified as Namdo Dado and Prem, were caught red-handed in possession of narcotic substances intended for distribution.

The operation was a result of diligent surveillance and intelligence gathering by the Doimukh police team, who had been tracking the movements of the suspects over the past few weeks. SDPO Radhe Obing stated, “This operation is part of our continuous effort to combat the growing menace of drug trafficking in the region. We will not let criminal activities endanger the future of our youth.”

In addition to the arrests, the police recovered a substantial amount of illegal drugs and paraphernalia from the accused. The seized contraband is currently undergoing forensic analysis, and further investigations are underway to uncover any larger network connected to the two suspects.
