With the Rajasthan by-elections fast approaching, the state is gearing up to ensure peaceful and fair polling. Over 9,000 security personnel will be deployed across various polling stations on election day.

The state administration has emphasized the importance of maintaining law and order during the elections. Officials have confirmed that the deployment will include state police, paramilitary forces, and home guards. Sensitive and hyper-sensitive polling stations will be given special attention to avoid any disruptions.

The Election Commission, in collaboration with state authorities, has identified sensitive regions that require heightened security. To minimize risks, CCTV cameras and live monitoring systems are being installed at these stations. Security forces have already begun flag marches in several constituencies to instill confidence among voters.

In addition to managing security, the personnel will oversee the smooth functioning of polling booths, assist in handling Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs), and ensure compliance with the Model Code of Conduct. Additional Quick Response Teams (QRTs) have been stationed to address any emergencies that may arise during the polls.

The Director General of Police (DGP) emphasized, “The safety and confidence of voters are paramount. We have taken every possible measure to ensure that polling day proceeds without incidents.”

The announcement of this extensive security deployment has been well-received by political parties and the public. The administration is urging citizens to participate in the democratic process without fear, highlighting their commitment to a secure and transparent election.
