In a tragic incident on Annie Besant Road, Mumbai, Kaveri Nakhwa (45) lost her life when a BMW collided with the scooter she was riding with her husband, Pradip, early Sunday morning. The absconding driver, Mihir Shah, has spurred a city-wide search by six police teams. 
In a significant development, Mumbai Police have apprehended Rajesh Shah, father of Mihir Shah and a prominent Shiv Sena leader under Eknath Shinde’s leadership in Palghar district, Maharashtra. Additionally, Rajendra Singh Bidawat, who was in the car during the incident, has also been detained by Worli Police.
