Chennai’s city police commissioner, Sandeep Rai Rathore, has been reassigned to the role of director at the Tamil Nadu Police Training College. In his place, A Arun, currently serving as Additional Director-General of Police (Law and Order), has been appointed as the new city police commissioner.
Concurrently, Davidson Devasirvatham, who previously held the position of ADGP at the headquarters of the state police, has now been assigned as the ADGP overseeing law and order. These changes come as part of administrative reshuffling within the Tamil Nadu police force to streamline roles and responsibilities effectively.
