Barrelakka, a BCom graduate and cattle herder, gained prominence for contesting elections without resorting to bribery or coercion. She was vocal against CM Revanth Reddy, chanting slogans as police intervened. The protest also led to the detention of BRSV leader Gellu Srinivas Yadav and others.
