Hyderabad police have removed the names of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Coal Minister G Kishan Reddy from a charge-sheet related to an alleged violation of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC). The case, filed by Moghalpura police, originally included Shah and Reddy as accused, following a complaint by Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president G Niranjan.However, subsequent investigation found no evidence of MCC violations by Shah and Reddy. As a result, their names were excluded from the charge-sheet. The eighth Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate in Hyderabad issued a notice to Niranjan, instructing him to appear in court on July 7 in connection with the case.
