The Nalgonda police arrested two members of the notorious ‘Parthi gang’ after a tense encounter near the Outer Ring Road (ORR) in Peddamberpet on Friday morning. The police, using traditional human intelligence methods, traced the gang, which operates without modern technology.
Around 9 a.m., officers intercepted the gang, who were armed with screwdrivers. As the gang attempted to attack, the police fired warning shots to control the situation. “We were successful in nabbing two members before the gang could disperse,” stated Nalgonda SP Sharat Chandra Pawar. Efforts are ongoing to locate the remaining gang members.
