In a commendable display of promptness, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) at Lingampalli, under the Secunderabad division, swiftly responded to a RailMadad complaint on July 2. A passenger traveling from Rajahmundry to Secunderabad aboard Train No. 07445 Lingampalli Special Fare Express had reported a lost handbag containing Rs. 1.1 lakh in cash.
Acting swiftly under ‘Operation Amanat’, RPF Lingampalli personnel located the bag in Coach B1 and secured it from the on-duty TTE. The handbag, along with crucial documents, was safely stored at the RPF office. The owner, M. Bhagavthgita, was promptly informed and personally received her belongings at the Lingampalli office, expressing heartfelt gratitude for the efficient handling.
This incident marks another success for RPF Lingampalli in 2024, contributing to their record retrieval of lost items totaling Rs. 43.8 lakh across 54 incidents
