Since February, Ranchi’s Jharkhand police have established multiple apex committees and sub-committees to ensure effective implementation of three new laws: Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam across the state. Led by key figures like the Director General (CID), Additional Director General (Technical), ADG of Jharkhand Armed Police, and Special Secretary (Home), these apex committees focus on technical upgrades and training personnel in the newly enacted legislation.

Sub-committees, which include police officers and officials from various departments such as IT, are dedicated to training initiatives, infrastructure enhancements, and acquiring additional resources. Inspector General (Operation) Amol Homkar highlighted ongoing training sessions for police personnel at Ranchi’s Investigation Training School (ITS), supplemented by online programs. Participants range from IPS officers to investigation officers, reflecting a comprehensive effort to equip personnel with necessary skills and knowledge.
